Today, I was taking some baby steps in my Self-Love Journey.
The baby steps I took were to allow others to help me when I was having an anxiety attack. See, self-love when offered by others is just as important as offering it to yourself. Sometimes you have to let others take away your stress, be your shoulder to cry on.
Sometimes you just have to take a deep breath, allow the tears and keep pushing yourself to take baby steps.
I’m learning to eliminate everything that is not motivating me, not inspiring me and not making me move forward with my life and self-love journey.
Happiness is a CHOICE. We are responsible for how we feel, how we act and what we contribute to the world.
Anxiety doesn’t define me. It is something I suffer from time to time. I’m choosing my happiness. I’m choosing friends who support me on my rough mental health days. I’m learning to Laugh a little louder, Smile a little larger, Dream a little further, Love a little extra – and – Live a little Happier.
I’m just me. Full of flaws, scars and insecurities. The people who truly love me see beyond them, embrace me in spite of them and love me through them. Anyone who might suffer from anxiety like me, if you’re troubled or worried, remember to breathe slow, take one moment at a time, put the stereo on your favorite song and sing as loud as you can! Take baby steps if need be.
Be strong my friends. Make a statement. Stand up for your opinion. Do what you feel is right, and NEVER let anyone put you down! YOU are your own person!
