Shouldn’t the idea of self-love be globally known?
I think it is time we start a different kind of revolution. I have seen this campaign going around for others to stop hating their bodies. That is one thing. But picture this: You can’t truly stop hating your body without first adding a little self-love.
Self-love comes with self-care. Doing those little things for your body – simple things, like getting your nails done, going for a walk, eating a cookie just because you want too.
I wish I could tell you that self-love comes easy, and overnight! Wouldn’t that be so wonderful though? Sadly, it does not. It takes practice. Every day, I choose a body part and I compliment it. Now you may be thinking that sounds silly! Well, maybe, but it works. Sooner or later you start to believe it, and then you are adding to that list and you become more grateful and centered in self-love.
Today, say to yourself, “I’m committing to a new kind of revolution, a revolution of Self-Love.”
