Scratching, cutting, and scraping.
THIS is why I can’t have nice things.
I try to be proactive and give myself a manicure but we all know that turns into me biting half of the nail off. Only because I couldn’t master that perfect square shape that I long for at the shop.
How soothing it is, to sit in a chair and be pampered, but on the contrary it is so satisfying to do something for myself. Something as small and dainty as fingernails add so much significance to my healthy lifestyle. What is that lifestyle you say?
To simply take care of myself.
Finding time in an already busy day is quite difficult. But really making time to merely trim my nails is worth it. My body deserves my time and attention AND it’s what I require of myself.
