I love my connection to a Higher Being. I pray and journal for answers to my questions, and even though I don’t always get answers, I always get at least the feeling that I’m putting my thoughts out there, they are being listened to, they are bouncing around and causing ripples in the molecules in this wacky universe of ours, and that those ripples come back around eventually, hopefully with something that helps my situation. I feel that I have someone to always listen to me, and I feel that I have someone or something to be grateful to, and this enriches my life and makes me feel more supported and prepared to take on the less appealing side of life with a sense of humor. I still don’t like that bad things happen to good people, and I have a rather fatalistic view on our temporariness on this planet, but in the long run, I feel that I am loved by and am part of something bigger than myself, that contains all of the existence, people, animals, molecules, dust, and thought in the universe, though it made us, or is glad to have us here, to originate those thoughts and stories. I love my connection to that, because I have had enough magical experiences to make a believer of me. And I am grateful for that.
