Self-Love Diet Tip #21: Cultivating Joy

cultivating-joy

Not everyday starts out on a positive note, but that doesn’t mean that it has to stay that way. Self-Love Diet Tip #21, cultivate joy. If your day isn’t going the way you want it to, you can choose to consciously cultivate joy. If your day is going the way you want it to, enjoy it, bask in it, appreciate it and cultivate more joy.

My day started out on a good note, and then it took a dip. I started to think of things that bring me joy. Reading the self-love posts that people submit, that brings me joy. Last night, someone sent me a message about how one of her friends is really benefiting from the 31-Day Self-Love Writing Challenge, that brought me joy. I then focused on how that joy made me feel.

Peaceful, content, clear headed, a subtle increase in energy, warm. I recalled the experiences that brought me joy, focused on them, remembered how I felt physically and emotionally, and cultivated those feelings in the present moment.

What brings you joy? How does it make you feel?

Cheers, 🙂
