As we feel stress, our body feels stress. I’ve been doing a lot more computer work recently, and my body has been feeling it. My back and shoulders have felt tighter than usual, and I was feeling pain in my right hand and arm. The stress my body felt was increasing and it was impacting my sleep, how effectively I was working and my energy. Last week, spur of the moment, I decided to get a professional massage. I had a gift card from Christmas. It was just what I needed.
As I was getting my massage, I was able to rest and rejuvenate my body and give my brain a break, which was a very self-loving thing to do.
The Self-Love Diet Tip #18 is to pamper yourself. Show your body love by doing something that will help relax your body and rejuvenate your energy.
Some Ideas On Pampering Yourself:
- Get a massage
- Get a Reiki treatment
- Do yoga
- Take a bath; you can add bath salts, relaxing music and scented candles
- Meditate
- Put lotion on your body
- Do QiGong
- Take a nap
- Dance
- Get a manicure and/or pedicure
What activities do you find relaxing and rejuvenating?
Cheers!
