Today, I love my voice! I have managed, over the years, to learn to put all sorts of emotion into it and it is fun to play with, make funny noises with, and talk to people with. My current role at work has me on the phone a lot, and being able to reassure people with a low, calming voice seems to really help them feel assisted. I can hear myself talk sometimes, and the sound of it pleases me much of the time. I also like to sing along to the radio, because using my voice in singing vibrates my chest pleasantly and makes me feel good. I hope it sounds good to other people, too, but I’m mostly glad that I love it, myself. (a caveat here is that I do like the sound if my own voice, but I also like to listen to other people. 😉 )
