Self-Love Diet Tip #15: Creativity Expands Your Experiences

It was still dark outside this morning while I was at the kitchen sink washing dishes. I looked out my kitchen window and saw the most startling beautiful full moon. Its bright white light was encased by the still black night sky. I felt as if I had a special private moment with Mother Moon. What a gift!

One way to bring more Self-Love into your days is to expand your experiences. Give yourself the gift of lingering in those moments that bring you joy. Remember them, and then you can use your creativity to expand the moment so you can bring it back to your mind and body like a gift that lifts you up during your day.

By remembering the moon this morning and writing about it now, I am expanding that wonderful moment when it’s beauty took my breath away.

It kept coming to mind while I was in the shower this morning and I thought of a Haiku.

Early Morning Gift

When we share our experiences with others it also expands its impact. Once this writing is posted, you’ll be able to share in my experience and it will continue to be a gift not only to me, but to all who read this. Likewise if you have something happen that is painful, if you allow yourself to feel it and expand it by sharing it with others, the gift of being supported will stay with you, and you’ll remember that you are not alone.

Use your creativity this month to expand your experiences that you want to remember. I look forward to hearing how you’ve put this tip into practice.
