Dear Love Warrior Community-
This is day three of my 31 day commitment to self love. Today I let myself feel my feelings. Today I reassured myself that it is okay that I am not able to do as much as I once did. I let myself know that my value and worth are based on my soul, not my doing or accomplishing. Today I allowed myself to feel the earth on my feet, the touch and kiss of a horse on my face, and let the wind and sunlight dance across my skin. Today I opened an ear for a friend and acknowledged her struggle and her truth. I listened without judgment, with love and humility. Today I laughed with a little girl and honored the child within myself. Today I let myself be me without reservation.
In listening to a fellow friend, healer and woman in my life I was able to support her though a difficult time in her life. I felt useful which felt great, but most of all I was able to offer a love, wisdom and a gift that could only come from doing my own inner work. I was brought back to the fact that my inner work, through my own psychotherapy and personal growth is the greatest form of self-love. I acknowledge and give myself credit for the fact that I am a good friend to others, myself, and am a great advocate to have on my own side.
With love and light,
