I got up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and I had this blog in my mind! The thought occurred to me, “If I could choose a banquet of inner qualities, what would my menu consist of?”
I wrote them out on a piece of paper before going back to bed. Here is my menu which will guide me this day.
Appetizer: Playfulness
Side dish: Laughter
Entree: Joy
Dessert: Contentment
I can easily fall into unconsciousness and forget that I do get to choose. I am remembering this morning, and I choose the above Harvest of inner qualities for this day. What will you choose today?
