Changing My Expectations and Letting Go

I tweeted this a couple of weeks ago, “Shifting outside of the time rush mentality. Everything doesn’t have to happen now. Nothing happens when everything is the short term goal.”

This is something I have to constantly remind myself of. I often get stuck in the mindset that I have to do everything now; I have to respond to everything as it comes, but I don’t. When I start thinking that way and acting from that mentality, I end up becoming less efficient, less productive, more frustrated and less happy. When I put myself first, and everything else second to my needs, then everything usually falls into place.

I need to keep on reminding myself that the time rush mentality is an illusion, and that when I make self-love my main focus, everything falls into place.
