Dear LW Community,
I write tonight from a place of gratitude, exhaustion and the unknown. So many things in life come with uncertainty. So many things in life you don’t know what can come next, or happen next. Today has been a mixed day full of emotion. It started with getting up late as I need to rest as My body is taking a while to recover from recent events. I accompanied my great friend to my little sister’s baby shower. It is amazing how somebody who was just 16 years old is now a woman having her own child. I was watching her open up presents and I saw a woman before my eyes. I saw growth, transformation and the flicker of time right before my eyes. For several moments I sat in gratitude and amazement of how precious life is and how fast time can go by in a blink of an eye. With my friend’s support I was also able to see how I have begun to create my own family. A family of love, nurturing and those people who lift up and love my spirit and who I am. I sit in gratitude this evening for the amazing women and men in my life whose love help me be able to get in touch with my light to shine it out into the world. After I returned home I had a loving and deep conversation with one of my very best friends. I also had the opportunity to talk with one of my best friends from high school. It reminded me of old times and the present, as well as how much I have grown due to my interpersonal work. I end my evening by taking care of myself, eating dinner and allowing myself time to go to bed early so I can rest and heal my body. Each moment is an end to the last and a beginning to the new. What will you choose to create in this moment of life?
