Dear LW Community,
I take time to write This evening and I do apologize for not being able to write the last couple nights as my surgery took more out of me than I had thought. Not writing a self-love post was actually an action based on self-love and care. I listened to my body and what my body needed above all. Tonight I take time to write about what I am grateful for. I am grateful for all the lovely women in my life who have been loving, brought me food and continue to show me love through this difficult time. I thank God for the mysterious and lovely woman that I met in the waiting room while I was waiting for my surgery who really helped me through the process, and who I think is going to become a good friend over time. And even though I know that it is hard for me to slow down, I thank God and am grateful for the fact that I am learning to slow down and listen to my body. I really don’t have a choice. I honor and except that place in me that becomes a little child when I do not feel well that wants my mother, love and nurturance from the mother within myself and others. I am grateful that everything is static, flowing, changing and growing. Sending love and light. What are you grateful for?
