Dear LW Community,

(I like that Love Warrior is my initials.:)) Today as an act of self-love I slowed my day down and allowed myself to do art with two girlfriends. We set the intention of health and growing and stepping into our dreams. We are all doing this with are careers and relationships. It was an act of self-love to allow myself to be with a good friend most the evening and her partner. I have found that my friendships are what truly make my life meaningful and joyous, as well as working with others in their journey to self-love. Tonight I write a poem as a form of self-love to myself.

Strong carried shoulders sturdy and proud
Bold colored attire with finesse in her walk
Footsteps of ease that imprint on earth
Soft angel voice in the words that she talks

Mirrors of pounding heart
Racing while balanced and true
Lips that speak wisdom
of truth as the oceans blue

Lace tethered straps
Molded paint on canvas and hue
Echoes of blue bird sings as the mountain taps
Colored turquoise wings
Heart intruding being

Roots of trees that pass
Villages of lives that have past
Interwoven connection of life
Metamorphosed into wings

White colored skin
Black as night eyes
Something is about to begin
This grace within her step
Secrets will not be kept

Love and light-
Lindsey Wert
