My Offering

Souls of the earth, let me be your instrument,
Let my hands be your hands, woven with compassion;
May the web of life be woven strand by strand with grace;
Where there is hatred, may there be love;
Where there is intolerance, understanding;
Where there is violence, may there be peace;
And where there is sorrow, joy.
Souls of the earth, divine with light
Mother, Father, Sister and brother of all things, may our eyes and hearts be open;
May we see the truth of our holiness;
May we feel the holiness in each other, pure and free.

  1. I love this Lindsey. Reading this poem just makes me feel good, like you say, “may our eyes and hearts be open.” I feel like reading your poem instantly opens me up more. 🙂 I love it. 🙂
