The Reasons Behind What and Who You Love

There are reasons why you love the things you do.

There are also reasons behind who you love, and why you love them.

This is the basis of the Self-Love Diet.

By re-defining “diet” to mean, “things regularly offered” you can now put this re-definition into practice by regularly offering yourself Love.

The reason why you fall in love with the person or people you do are because when you are with them YOU feel good. YOU feel loved, or lovable, or worthwhile, or valuable. YOU feel that sensation of love flowing throughout your body. By spending time with them, you are regularly offering yourself love!

When you feel this love flowing through you, you take action, you love back, you speak up, you behave in positive loving ways back to the beloved, and then something wonderful happens.

This loving energy cannot be contained within you. It seeps out energetically, you have a loving aura around you, and your thoughts are imbued with a sense of well being and love and guess what you do?

You share it! You share it either unwittingly, energetically, or consciously, probably all of the preceding ways, and in more ways than I’ve written down.

This is why Passion attracts attention. This is why passionate people garner a following. Begin to notice those passionate people in your life. How do you feel when they are talking about their passions? Notice the energy around them when they are taking action on their passions.

What are you passionate about? Notice how you feel when you tap into that part of you that becomes enlivened.

I noticed this morning I was dragging along, not quite awake, I woke up and walked into the kitchen where my husband was working on our taxes. He asked me to go online and get some numbers for him to complete our work.

After getting the necessary statistics I made our oatmeal while he continued working on filling our tax forms.

He took a shower, I went online to check my email, and then I saw an email about a new song that was posted to the Love Warrior Community website.

I clicked the link and listened to an original song by Lisa Mangione, a new Love Warrior, and my soul was filled with love! I wrote a comment, and as I did the sun came out! As I write this post I can still feel the love and appreciation for our Love Warrior Community. I am reminded by the lyrics in her song about how much nature, in particular sunshine, effects me physiologically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually by providing me with a sense of love, well being, and connection to God, and everything and everyone in the world. This happiness surpasses my circumstances.

I realized a new passion today, SUNSHINE! And the reason I am so passionate about living in a place where I get a lot of sun, is because it makes me feel good! That is the secret of why you love who and what you do.
