For the month of February ask yourself, “What would love do?” each day. Have it be your guiding principle for this month. Asking this question begins your minds search engine in a positive direction.
Send in your examples of how this question helped you with a decision, action or thought. Notice how you felt afterwards. We can inspire each other on this journey.
This months’ prompt is right on target for me this morning. Today is the day before our annual Eating Disorders Recovery Support, (EDRS) 6th annual conference. I have a lot of loose ends to tie up, as well as a work day. I have a dear mentor who is in the hospital. So many things to do… “What would love do?”
This question put things immediately in perspective. I called the hospital asked for the visiting hours and will do my best to get there in person before 8 pm tonight, or at the very least call him.
Spending time with loved ones comes in many forms. Person to person is my favorite. That kind of time allows for hugs and eye to eye contact. Talking on the phone comes next, followed by texts or emails. I almost forgot my love of a hand written note, card or letter, especially when they’re filled with a photo or two.
When you plant the seed of questioning “What would love do?” you may be surprised to find love in unexpected places! I look forward to sharing this month’s experiences together. Thanks for joining the Love Warrior Community!
