Relaxation: A Note To My Future Self

Good Morning Emelina!! (This is me writing to myself) 🙂

I LOVE You! I love your smile. I love your contagious energy when you’re well rested and happy. I even love how you try to see the positive in situations and in life when you’re stressed out, overwhelmed and exhausted. I love how you consistently work on nurturing your self-love practice. I love how you actively work on pushing your comfort zone and I love how you go after what you want in life. I love that when you get down, and when things get stressful and rough, that you don’t give up. You keep on going and eventually things pick up again because you keep on trying.

I love you. 🙂

Yesterday your energy was really low and you were very stressed out. You realized that you had too much on your plate and you know that you have to change things around and re-prioritize what you’re doing in your life in order to regain your balance.

I love that last night when you realized this, instead of continuing to work and adding to your stress, you turned off your computer and you went to the gym and biked. Getting in movement felt great. Then, you told yourself that whatever you needed to get done tomorrow, you would and you didn’t need to worry. You didn’t need to spend endless hours preparing for interviews or whatever work. You don’t need that much time. It’s an inefficient use of your time. When you got home, you relaxed. You did some online work that made you happy and you watched the movie, Yes Man. 🙂

I love you and I love that you constantly evaluate your life, so when things are going great, you understand why, and when things are not going the way you want, you can understand why and you have the power to change it. Sometimes it’s hard to change certain patterns, but eventually you realize what you need to change, what energy you need to shift, and you do it. Eventually you come around and realize what the most loving thing is that you need to do for yourself, and then you do it. And it feels so good. 🙂

Tomorrow, (Today, as you’re reading this) you have the power to have a great day. You have the choice to embody a positive mindset today. You have the ability to choose to let go of your stress and the things you cannot control. Everything is going to be okay.
