27 Years <3


Today I acted in many ways that were loving. What I have realized is that being loving to myself does not always feel like love, actually I would say that almost 50 percent of the time it does not feel like love. For example, today I worked through some difficult memories from childhood and how they affect present day. It was painful, difficult, produced anger and at the same time felt cathartic and healing. This action was loving and will help me with my personal growth and journey to love myself even more.

It is almost two in the morning and I just finished cleaning my house and room for the 15 guests I will have over tomorrow to celebrate my 27th birthday with me, which is actually on the 24th of Jan. Preparing this has been loving. I bought a candle for everyone which we will collage tomorrow, followed by making soul collage cards and exchanging them blindly. I have found that creating this space for myself is so important, and I am blessed to have many good friends to do it with tomorrow.

Since I will be turning 27 soon I was thinking I would write 27 simple yet very important things I am thankful for…
