10 Minutes for Self-Love
I already feel this pressure, this rising excitement and buzzing in my head. I only have 10 minutes to write my self-love post, when usually I spend A LOT more of my time on writing a self-love post.
9:27pm … ?
Yesterday, more so last night, I talked to Katie Benedetto on Twitter (from North Carolina. I’m living in California. I love Twitter) and we brain stormed her journey into selling her photography. She’s creating a Zazzle store to create products featuring her photography and she’s going to sell her photos online like stock photos. You can check out her photos here on kGuac. I had so much fun talking with her and helping her brain storm. When she told me she was creating her Zazzle store I got so excited! I was so happy that I was able to “talk out” her goals and desires with her on Twitter and I was even more happy when I “saw” her taking action on her goals, making everything happen and come to life.
How does this relate to self-love or my self-love journey? It’s now 9:35 pm. I’m not sure exactly, but I know that it made me so happy to help her think out her goals, to support her and then to watch her take action and make it happen.
One thing I’ve realized this past year and a half since I graduated from college, but especially this past month since I’ve written my 1 Year Road Map, since I’ve re-organized Community Bucket List, re-launched the Love Warrior Community and gotten closer to some big goals I set out for myself, I realized that I want to have my life be in service of others, helping others realize their dreams and support them in taking action to live a passionate life. It makes me so happy to see others happy, to see others taking action to live a passionate life and to see others spread their happiness to others. It makes me happy to know that I had a part in it, and to see how my small part impacted one other person and then to see how their actions impact others, and so on and so forth. Energy can spread like wild fire. It’s my life purpose to spread good energy into the world, and it excites me to see how others take that energy and spread it in ways that I couldn’t have imagined.
