Twitter Chat with Aimee Liu, author of Restoring Our Bodies, Reclaiming Our Lives: Guidance and Reflections on Recovery from Eating Disorders
Bridget Whitlow, MFT interviewed Aimee Liu about her new book for AED (Academy of Eating Disorders).
Here’s the Intro:
Earlier this year, author, novelist, and recovery advocate Aimee Liu published a new book, Restoring Our Bodies, Reclaiming Our Lives: Guidance and Reflections on Recovery from Eating Disorders. Liu has filled its pages with thoughtful and compassionate essays written by women and men at different stages of their recovery, along with professional contributions from leading members of the Academy for Eating Disorders (AED), which offer invaluable guidance and resources for anyone whose life is affected by an eating disorder. Liu is generously donating all of the royalties to AED to support the organization’s pioneering research and educational efforts. AED’s Social Media Committee member Bridget Whitlow recently caught up with her to find out more.
