High Energy

I made this SoulCollege® card at one of my mom’s SoulCollage® workshops, and I keep on coming back to it. I believe this card to be my Source card.

What I connect most to is light and high positive energy. When I look at my SoulCollage® card, I see creation, energy, light, just being in the present.

When speaking from that card, I say:

  • I am the one who just is
  • I am the one who is connected to the universe
  • I am the one who is everything, who feels everything
  • I am the one who spreads change
  • I am the one who is not here, nor there, yet I am grounded
  • I am the one who is a strong force of nature

In my self-love work, the biggest thing I’ve been working towards is having stable high energy.

Happiness is Energy

For me, high energy equates to happiness. When I’m energized, I’m productive, I’m moving, I’m taking action, I’m progressing towards goals, I’m working on my passions, I’m living. When I have high energy, I’m a force to be reckoned with. I feel unstoppable, like I can do anything. When I have high energy, I feel truly alive. I don’t feel tired, dull, bored, weighed down, but alive – with light and energy springing out of my body.

High/Low Energy Balance

I’ve been working on a series of small, but powerful changes to increase my natural energy this past week: More sleep, more water, less caffeine, daily self-love work, daily de-cluttering, consistent exercise, and other healthy habits to make me feel healthy, happy, and energized.

About a week ago, there were two days where I got little sleep, and woke up at 3:10 am and 4:30 am. Those were very productive days, but by the third day I felt exhausted and spent most of my day sleeping. I felt unfocused and lacked clarity.

I then worked on getting more sleep. The following days, I started to average around 6 hours of sleep a night, which felt good, but these past two days I have gotten around 9 to 11 hours of sleep, which is too much for me.

I feel it. This sleep is heavy. I could have woken up earlier, but I chose to go back to sleep. Sleep for sleeps sake isn’t good for me. Sleep when I need it is great, but excessive sleep gives me slow energy. I think my body needs around 6 to 8 hours a night.

This is good for me to note. Now along with drinking a certain amount of water a day, etc, I can make sure I get in a certain amount of sleep each night that is healthy for my body and mind.

My Source Card

It feels good identifying what my source card is. I feel like it chose me. I kept on coming back to it, again and again. Recently, I’ve been working on harnessing my natural energy, and wrote down my plan and actions to harness that energy. I’m starting to realize what makes me tick, what really gets me energized for life and happy, and that is energy.

It’s exciting to pin point what brings me happiness, and it may be something vague, like having high energy, but with knowing that – I can focus my actions and thoughts to lead me towards feeling high energy, which will in turn make me happy. It’s exciting to know that with my thoughts and actions I can cultivate happiness.

Once I realize how to cultivate my happiness, why not do it? Understanding myself makes it that much easier, and self-love work helps me to understand.

    Beautiful soul card. I’m with you on energy being connected to happiness. I feel so much better and more productive when I get an adequate amount of sleep and water. I definitely need to drink more water. I’m with you on this self-love journey. The little steps will make great improvements!

  2. Thank you Cassandra. 🙂 I agree about the little steps making great improvements. Sometimes it’s hard to push forward with whatever or just be and relax when my energy isn’t high. It’s nice to work on building habits that help increase my natural energy. I looked through your website. It’s so positive and awesome. 🙂 I’m glad you’re on this self-love journey too. It builds such great energy, and it’s such an awesome, powerful, inspiring, and loving community to be part of. It’s nice to meet you. 🙂
