Self–Love Day 23
Today was a catch up day after expending the energy with the SoulCollage® workshop.
Even though it’s not physically taxing, and its actually renewing to be with a group of people who are in the creative process, I notice I need a “do nothing” day afterwards.
I went for a good walk, and worked on my book proposal today. I was in the flow and feeling excited, and I was motivated to complete it. As dinner time approached, I began to feel discouraged because I was feeling responsible to cook dinner when I wanted to continue to work on my proposal.
My daughter reminded me of the card I made yesterday at the workshop entitled, Stairway to Heaven.
One of the messages of the card was to “Rest in the knowledge that the universe will provide.”
She reminded me that I could make a dinner that took a ½ an hour instead of the one I had planned.
My husband went to the store and bought the ingredients for a meal that would only take ½ hour to make. I put the brown rice on to cook, and went back to writing.
He came back with the ingredients I requested, and I was happy to cook a healthy meal, that was tasty, looked good, and was easy to put together.
I was able to love myself enough tonight to make my work a priority; everything flowed from there.
It’s true, the universe does provide.
