Self–Love Day 23
I’m working with a great entrepreneur, Mikko Kemppe. He’s an internet marketer, a salsa instructor, a relationship coach, and a lot more. Working with him inspires me.
Less than a month ago he moved to Finland, where he’s originally from, to start a Salsa Academy in Helsinki. Within that time he set the dates for a Helsinki Salsa Congress, next January. He got a club to sponsor Salsa dance nights every Saturday and had a successful opening night last night. He opened up the doors to the Helsinki Salsa Academy (HSA), for training On1 and On2 Salsa, and the Performance team will start meeting in April. He’s gotten an HSA salsa band together, and got recording studio time. And he’s been doing so much more. He’s on fire!
He has gotten a strong group of people to work with him and to help him realize his dreams, and I’m one of them. It’s a pleasure working with him, I’m learning a lot, we’re both benefiting, and it’s an overall positive and great experience. I just started two online web design classes this past week, and one of them is about creating web sites for people as a group, and working together as a virtual team. I’ve realized this many times, but today it hit home, Mikko is a great leader. He’s a great team leader, and a great virtual leader. He knows how to inspire people. He appreciates people. He recognizes their value, and encourages their growth. Overall, he’s a great person.
I have similar passions as Mikko, internet marketing, people, and creating being a few of them, and I’ve come to realize that when you pair yourself up with different people, as friends, as work buddies, as whatever, there is this energy that you create. I have worked with people whose energy doesn’t mix well with mine, where our energy creation isn’t positive. And I’ve worked with people, like Mikko, where our energy works great together. We feed off of each others’ energy, and it creates an exciting and productive work and life environment.
And this excitement does spill into all aspects of my life. From working with Mikko, I have also realized that you can achieve anything that you want, and that hard work does pay off. It’s exciting to work on a project, and to see our efforts come to reality. All of my work projects have been going well, and I have recently taken on some personal projects that I have wanted to do for a long time. I’m seeing my life move in a fluid, balanced, and energetic way, and sometimes there are rough patches, or sometimes I get discouraged, but I keep on going, and I tell myself that I can do it. The cool thing is – I realize that I can.
My self-love actions: I’m taking that collaborative energy, and I’m working it into my life. I’m collaborating with more and more people, and I’m looking into the positive that the world has to offer me, and I’m offering my energy to others. It’s exciting. 🙂
