Self–Love: Day 19

Today was about body love in so many ways.

Early in the morning, I took my shower and focused on gratitude for my body as I soaped up. I could actually feel the chi as I did come Chi Gung movements under the warm water spray.

I used my body cream, focusing on bringing in love.

I went to the chiropractor to get my adjustment, although I didn’t want to stop writing my book proposal, I did want to be a good advocate of my body and its health.

I went to my office early so I could assemble my new balance ball before my first client. By sitting on this ball within a chair frame, I’m engaging in my core, and sitting aligned. My career as a psychotherapist has had me sitting in a chair for a good part of each day for oever 20 years. I’ve recently discovered that I’ve been sitting “wrong” all these decades.

Today I sat in my balance ball chair for a good portion of each session. I’m hopeful this well help my back and leg.

At the end of my day, I got a massage!

My body likes to be loved. What a wonderful alternative to the years of criticism I put it through. Today there’s no looking back. I look forward to my Chi Gung class tomorrow before work.
